FIFA 20 is a new take on the classic soccer game, where instead of playing in a professional arena with professional players, as the game's slogan says users can take to the streets and play soccer in new settings. Whether playing in sky-top arenas, graffitied back lots, or public parks in the middle of the city, users get the experience of FIFA off the beaten path. For lovers of the original game this can add a fun new element that has been missing from the relative monotony of the iconic game. FIFA 20 feels more like an updated version of the beloved game, FIFA Street.

FIFA 20 allows for many cool customizations that are not available. Some of the customizations include custom game rules, avatar customization, and location changes. FIFA 20 boasts a cool new feature called VOLTA. VOLTA, or "return" in Portuguese, allows users to really return back to the roots of the game--focusing on soccer above all else. There are several modes within the game such as VOLTA Football, VOLTA Story Mode, VOLTA League, and VOLTA World. Each of these harkens back to previous editions of FIFA but also remains new and modern. As stated before, there are a lot of customizations for avatars in this edition including clothes, hair, tattoos, or even emotions. These customizations allow for players to really immerse themselves in the world of soccer in a way that feels personal and fun.

FIFA 20 is offered for Windows 8, Windows 7, and Windows 10. Don't let the Portuguese VOLTA confuse you, FIFA 20 is offered in a multitude of different languages. These languages include: English, Italian, Finnish, Czech, Danish, Japanese, German, French, Polish, Norwegian, Dutch, Swedish, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, and Russian. Just like soccer itself, FIFA 20 is really the game of the world.

While there are many upsides to this new game, there are some kinks that still need to be worked out. For example there have been many complaints that the AI in the game doesn't work as well as in previous FIFA games. Also, many of the move combinations from older games do not work as well in FIFA 20 as they have in former iterations. There is also no ability to play against friends, making it less of a communal game than many users wish it could be.

Overall, FIFA 20 has a lot of interesting concepts and fun and unique challenges that were missing or not executed as well. While it does harken back to FIFA Street, there are many new and unique aspects to FIFA 20 that feel modern and fresh. That being said, the game does have its limitations and frustrations that come along with it. It could be better thought of as a totally new kind of soccer video game rather than comparing it to many of its ancestors. It is a fun and addicting game in its own right and has many interesting elements to keep users engaged and playing longer.
